MnM Removals

Initially I was concerned that MnM Removals didn't have many reviews online and not much information was available for them. I took a risk since their prices were so much affordable than another big named company.
They moved all our furniture from an awkward first floor apartment, travelled 200 miles away to an awkward 3 bed old house in a small village and unloaded everything by 2pm (started at 9am). The quote we received from the other company wanted to do it over 2 days! They were very fast, friendly and I would definitely recommend then to anyone who is unsure about who to hire for their removals.
I'm not sure why the other reviewer had a hard time. It is your own responsibility to wrap your items sufficiently so they don't get damaged during the move. The guys were very friendly and approachable so you could micromanage them with certain items if you wished.

The van arrived 2 hours late. It was dirty inside and there were no ropes or covers to secure and protect the goods in transit. MNM's website claims they are fully insured but despite submitting photographs and descriptions of damaged goods no response was received from MNM. Having followed this up over 5 weeks and receiving a verbal promise that the matter was being dealt with, there is still no response. From their website MNM appear not to be part of a trade organisation where my complaint could be followed up so I would advise avoiding this company.

Price paid was competitive as benchmarked with another leading and local removal company, but service and after care was poor. The vans were suppoed to arrive before 8am to move from a 6 bed 3 storey house, moving to a 5 bed house 15 miles away and a second collection of furniture to go to an auction showroom. The 2 unmarked vans did not turn up until after 12.15, apparently one of the vans had broken down and a replacement had to be sourced from Nottingham. This put the whole schedule back, meant that we were in breach of contract to give vacant possession to our buyers and furniture and beds at delivery were left dismantled. One of the team complained he would be late to work that evening in an Indian Takeaway. No surprise really as the crew, whilst pleasant enough, did not seem to possess the necessary skills to dismantle and put back together furniture, which became damaged in the process. The furniture that was to go to auction could not be delivered before closing so we asked this company to store it for us until whn they would take delivery and they wanted us to pay the full cost of storage, would not even entertain sharing the cost. We retained only £100 against their charges and requested 3 times they send us their complaints procedure. This was met with empty promises to send this (7 weeks have passed) and intimidating threats to come to our home to collect the money and add £40 to our bill for the privilege. It was only when we threatened to call the police did this harrassment stop.

We booked MnM removals in advance, and phoned the day before to reconfirm our booking. They were due to arrive at 9:30 and failed to show. I phoned the mobile number and 0800 line to try to find out if they were still coming but neither phones were answered. My husband also tried - they initially answered and said they had van problems but would be there in 20 mins. Once they then knew his number, they stopped answering his calls and still failed to show after the 20mins promised.

I left three voicemails for them asking that they simply confirm if they are not coming so we can try to make other arrangements - we had no response.

Absolutely horrific service and I would strongly recommend that MnM removals are NOT used!!

Great job!! safely moved 200 miles from Leicester to Swansea. Efficient ,prompt and helpful Thanks Mas and Mario . The guys were good at placing furniture and negotiating tight corners. I was worried that they would not be on time but all was well. Would recommend them to anyone. Sometimes difficult to get hold of the office but on route the guys kept in touch so I knew where they were.
Everyone was pleasant and helpful and I would certainly use them again as their costs were very reasonable.

I am very pleased with the service they provided. When I was looking for a removal company, I collected 5 quotes from different removal companies, Bells and Sons, GB Liners, Britannia Bradshaw, Henry and Sons, and MNM removals. Among them, 3 of 5 companies wanted to have 180-280 gbp more for a removal job from 1 bedroom house, 3 miles distance, self-packing. Even after I completed additional surveys those companies gave me that high price. MNM removals had good reviews and asked for a reasonable price, so I chose them. Also they were the only ones who told me straightaway what vehicle and manpower they will provide - just what I needed
On the date of the removal they came on time, were careful with our boxes and furniture and when moving inside the properties (nothing damaged); communicated clearly and friendly; provided additional wrapping where necessary; brought the items to rooms they were told to. The whole removal was completed in 1-1.5 hours by two men. I would call them for another removal if I need to.

Very happy I needed to move home and came across this company the booking was fast and professional and saved me loads of time searching the net every thing was sorted on the day of removal theses guys turned up on time they was very polite and helpful I had no issues with this company what so ever was soon in my new home all items was put into the right rooms without any hassle and no breakages would definatly recommend mnm to anybody as they are very fast and efficient and there rates are affordable compared to other removal companies.
